Day-of coordination
From the day they booked
Many coordinators step in a month or a week before the wedding. Karin started straight away, with vendor suggestions, décor ideas and a detailed wedding-day timeline.
A month out
She came to the venue walkthrough, guided the couple through their rehearsal, and collected every vendor contract ahead of time.
The week before
That’s the week “when every vendor suddenly wants something from the bride.” Karin took those calls. In the bride’s words: “She shielded me from so much stress.”
The day
Karin arrived with her son Adam, who unpacked and set up the décor. She checked that no groomsman had anything in his pockets before the walk down the aisle, kept the DJ on schedule, and made sure the couple had food and drinks all night. When a guest spilled something on her dress, Karin helped. When the bow on the bride’s dress kept falling off, Karin fixed it “every single time.” She stayed to the very end for the sparkler exit.
The day after
Some of the alcohol the couple had bought didn’t come back from the caterer. Karin emailed the catering company for them to make sure they were reimbursed. “She did not have to do that as the wedding was over.”
Behind the scenes
Karin made sure every vendor honored their contract, and had the venue wash its windows before the ceremony. Twice.
What the bride saw
“She kept me informed of any changes without overwhelming me.”
See day-of coordinationOur guests loved her, our vendors respected her, and we would not have had the same experience without her.
